Mike Flynn will present a 30 minute video/talk about the history of Quilting Treasures (America's Oldest Fabric Company) and how quilt shop quality fabric is made. He'll explain the differences between their fabric and chain store fabrics and talk a bit about the future of fabrics. He'll take questions from the audience.
Everyone gets a goodie bag including 4 free Quilting Treasures fat quarters so they can feel the quality. A video presentation shows fabric being printed in the factory and goes through all the steps of production of the flat bed printing process which is how quilt shop quality fabric is made, and shows the roller process which is how chain fabric is made.
Mike will finish his presentation with a drawing for prizes which are Quilting Treasures fat quarter bundles/strip rolls. The entire presentation takes about 30 minutes. Mike is also offering a short bolt sale through the Cotton Blossom Quilt Shop on Wednesday during Vendor Day.
